Chevrolet Corvette Z06

About the Chevrolet Corvette Z06

When it comes to performance, one of the most coveted and recognizable names in the industry is undoubtedly the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. A natural evolution of the mid-engine 9th-generation Corvette, today’s Z06 pushes the limits of exhilaration and high-octane thrills with its purpose-built 5.5L V8 DI high-output flat plane crank engine and its unmistakable roar. Featuring an astounding 8,600 RPM redline, this beast of a powertrain can rocket the Corvette Z06 from 0-60 in a remarkable 2.6 seconds while hitting a quarter-mile time of just 10.6 seconds at the drag strip. Race-inspired styling cues offer functional aerodynamic performance that keeps this purpose-built sports car planted at high speeds. Inside the cabin, meticulous attention has been paid to ergonomics and driver support. Lightweight carbon fiber trim accents help reduce weight while plenty of connected tech features and track-ready features help you squeeze every ounce of performance out of the Corvette Z06. The time has finally arrived for you to grab the wheel and write your own chapter in the storied legacy of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

What the Critics Say

"With its extraordinary mid-engine performance, exotic-car looks and personality, and hard-to-believe value, the Corvette Z06 is a sterling example of what GM can do when the engineers are given a long leash." - Car and Driver

"Yes, you feel the wheels moving about, but the Corvette itself never feels unsettled. Our Z06/Z07 has the optional FE7 suspension, which means thicker front and rear anti-roll bars, plus stiffer springs front and rear. The results are wonderful and great fun to drive." - MotorTrend

What's New for 2025

Most of the updates to the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 are cosmetic for the 2025 model year. New paint colors available this year include Sebring Orange Tintcoat Metallic, Hysteria Purple Metallic, and Competition Yellow Tintcoat Metallic. A new 10-spoke alloy wheel pattern also debuts with four individual shades including Polished, Pearl Nickel, Gloss Black, and Bright Polished with Carbon Flash Pockets. Buyers can also opt for new Velocity Yellow brake calipers as well. Finally, a new Habanero interior color scheme arrives for 2025 along with contrast blue stitching for black interiors inside the Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Features

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Engine

Blistering Performance

Maximizing the capabilities of its mid-engine layout, the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 continues to deliver the ultimate supercar experience. The beating heart of the Z06 is the expertly-crafted 5.5L LT6 V8 engine that features a flat-plane crankshaft and prominently boasts an 8,600 RPM redline. With 670 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque on tap, the Z06 continues to set new benchmarks for American supercar performance. Its 8-speed dual-clutch transmission features a shorter 5.56 final drive ratio compared to the standard Corvette Stingray and offers paddle shifters to keep you in the sweet spot of the powerband at all times. Other key highlights of the Corvette Z06 include its exclusive suspension tuning, Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 system, and massive 6-piston front Performance Brembo® antilock brakes to help slow its tremendous power. Those who demand the best can opt for its available Z07 performance package that adds a carbon fiber high rear wing and ground effects, specific chassis tuning, specific Magnetic Ride Control calibration, unique Michelin® Cup 2 R ZP tires, and Brembo® carbon ceramic brakes.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Styling

Track-Tested Styling

In addition to demanding the attention of bystanders, the bold look of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 features purposeful design cues that make an impact both on and off the track. It all begins with its race-inspired stance that’s 3.6 inches wider than the Corvette Stingray, featuring enlarged 345-series rear tires and improved airflow through side air vent channels to cool its center heat exchanger. All models also include a reconfigurable rear spoiler with adjustable wickerbill elements for greater stability. Buyers can also opt for available carbon fiber wheels that further reduce unsprung weight and boost acceleration. The optional carbon fiber aero package also adds a larger front splitter, front-corner canards (dive planes), a pedestal-mounted rear wing, and underbody aero strakes. Personalization is another hallmark of the Corvette Z06 thanks to a plethora of vibrant exterior colors, wheel designs, interior color schemes, and even color-coordinated seat belts.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Interior

Driver-Focused Interior

An essential component of any true supercar, the premium interior of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is an expertly crafted balance of comfort and support. Whether you opt for available GT1 or GT2 performance seats or prefer the full-leather or sueded microfiber upholstery choices – the cabin places the driver at the center of attention. Its narrow row of control buttons frees up valuable real estate on the dashboard for its massive 12-inch diagonal color instrument cluster. This is where you’ll find innovations like the available Performance Data Recorder, allowing you to monitor and record all of the action on the track. The standard Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Premium system with an 8-inch diagonal color touch screen display and Google built-in means that all of your favorite apps and media can come along for the journey as well. Other standard highlights include a Color Head-Up Display and a Bose premium 10-speaker sound system.
